Ram Gopal Varma moves court against censor officer

Film director Ram Gopal Varma on Monday approached the Nampally court seeking directions to police to file a criminal case against censor board regional official Dhanalaxmi.

In the petition, Ram Gopal Varma told the court that Dhanalakshmi harassed him during the release of his latest movie Satya 2. 
"I am filing a criminal case on regional censor board officer Dhanalaxmi on Monday at Nampally criminal court with regard to 'Satya 2' release. She should be booked for causing financial loss, overstepping her authority and using abusive language," the director told reporters on Saturday. Accordingly, a petition was filed today, urging the court to direct the police to book a case against her.
