KCR reveals the reason for doing T survey

Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao finally made public his intention behind taking up Intensive Household Survey in Telangana.

As per the reports, KCR planned the survey after he faced a tough question from Planning Commission of India. The question was why there were so many handicapped persons in Telangana. The chief minister felt ashamed as he has no proper answer for the same.  He could not give proper reply.

After the incident, KCR has decided to select true beneficiaries by removing bogus ones in pensions, Arogya Sri and in ration cards.

For this, he planned the survey after convening a meeting of higher officials. The survey is the result of the same.

However, there are some speculations that KCR is planning one more survey based on the findings of the recent survey.
