Cyber Crime Police File Four Cases Over Posts After Allu Arjun's Arrest

After Allu Arjun's arrest, Hyderabad Cyber Crime police have registered four cases related to posts made on social media. Following Allu Arjun's arrest, several posts were made criticizing the Telangana government and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Based on multiple complaints, the Cyber Crime police initiated cases, and investigations are now underway. The accused have been booked under various sections of the IT Act, along with other relevant charges.

The police have registered cases under the IT Act and Sections 352 and 353(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), focusing on individuals responsible for spreading provocative or defamatory content online. Authorities are actively investigating those responsible for these posts.

What Happened at Sandhya Theatre?

The premiere show of Pushpa 2 began at 9:30 PM on December 4. A large crowd of fans gathered at Sandhya Theatre near RTC Cross Road. At the same time, actor Allu Arjun arrived at the theatre with his wife Sneha. However, the theatre management failed to take any precautionary measures, and no special arrangements were made for entry or exit.

Around 9:00 PM on the same night, Magudampalli Bhaskar (40), a resident of Sivalingannagar, Dilsukhnagar, went to watch Pushpa 2 with his wife Revathi (39) and son Sri Tej (9). While they were seated in the lower balcony of the theatre, Allu Arjun arrived around 9:40 PM. As his security personnel moved the crowd aside to allow him to move forward, Revathi and Sri Tej fell. By then, Revathi had already passed away, and Sri Tej, who had lost consciousness, was rushed to the hospital by the police.

A case has been filed against Allu Arjun and the theatre management in connection with this incident. Following the investigation by Chikkadpally police, Allu Arjun was arrested. Subsequently, the higher court granted him interim bail for four weeks after reviewing his petition to quash the charges.
