YSRCP leader warns news channel

YSRCP leader Bontu Rajeswara Rao tells ABN Andhra Jyothy channel to refrain from broadcasting derogatory news items against him or to face a defamation case.

The channel showed an item which stated that the leader distributed money and liquor in the recent elections. It also said that large amount of liquor bottles belonging to him were seized by the police. 

The leader clarified that he never distributed money in the recent elections. “So, there is no question of them being seized by the police,” said Rao.

“It is the Telugu Desam Party leaders who distributed money and liquor in Rajolu and Lakkavaram villages. It is very sad that the channel doesn't know about it,” said Rao.

He clarified that YSRCP leaders and activists worked very sincerely in the recent elections.

“ABN channel insulted the people by saying that some voters voted for TDP after taking money from YSRCP,” said the leader.

He warned the channel not to broadcast such baseless items in future.
