YS Jagan lambasts AP Govt for medical emergency in Krishna village - Sakshi Post

In a scathing attack on the inaction of the AP Government in containing viral fevers in Kothamajeru of Krishna district, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said though 18 persons died so far in the last two months, the TDP government remained unmoved.

“If only the health minister visited the village, there would not have been this many deaths. Five people died in the last four days. The government has clearly failed in realizing the gravity of the situation,” said YSRCP chief. YS Jagan, who visited the village on Tuesday, said that neither the CM nor the health minister visited the village despite the serious situation prevailing. Several locals poured out their woes to YS Jagan.

“We had raised the issue of contaminated water and the viral fever deaths. We spoke to the MRO. The MRO was rude to us and said he would not give an explanation. Later, he suspended a low-level ANM. Beyond that no action was taken. The MRO is behaving like a lackey of the ruling party,” the locals told YS Jagan.
