Hrishiteshwari's diary reveals harassment, loneliness

Portions of Hrishiteshwari's diary, which have come to light on Tuesday, showed how depressed she was and the extent to which she was harassed.

Hrishiteshwary ended her life after she could not bear ragging anymore. She was a student of Acharya Nagarjuna University architecture college. 

Her diary, which came to light recently, explains how a boy, whom she considered her brother, had misbehaved with her while they were returning in an autorickshaw from the beach. 

She also laid bare the ill-fated moments in the fresher's party in the college. She wrote that she wanted to end her life as she could not take the issue to her father.  She called her senior Charan an Idiot.

Hrishiteshwari also wrote about her loneliness. She claims that she felt lonely even when she was in Class VI. She says she used to return home at 5 pm from the school, but her parents, both employed, used to come at 9 PM only.
