TRS seeks more power supply to Telangana farmers

The Telangana Rashtra Samiti sought at least 7 hours of power supply to agriculturists in the Telangana region and are preparing to launch an indefinite hunger strike in front of the Transco headquarters, Vidyut Soudha. On Saturday last, the TRS legislators had met the CMD of Transco on this matter and he had assured them of 7 hours of power supply to farmers in Telangana.

However, this was not happening on the ground they said and threatened to launch an indefinite fast led by MLA and TRS leader Harish Rao.
