TRS Plenary To Be Grand Affair; Mouth Watering Delicacies On The Menu

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is making elaborate arrangements on a grand scale for its plenary to be held on April 21 on the sprawling 60-acre ground at Kompally near city. The venue has been named as 'Telangana Pragathi Pranganam'.

The roads leading to Komaplly for the plenary are decked with pink lights and huge cutouts of chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Apart from the dotted colorful venue, around 26 delicacies will be served in five dining areas. A source said that Telangana special cuisines like dhum chicken fry, mutton shoruva, etc. would be served, besides unique vegetarian dishes and dessert to satiate the members.

The plenary would commence at GBR Gardens at Kompally at 10.30am after TRS flag is hoisted. The convention would begin after paying homage to martyrs of Telangana movement and then party chief would be elected. KCR will speak at the beginning and towards the end of the plenary. Sources say that cadre might expect important announcement from KCR and a bigger post to KT.Rama Rao might be allotted who is of late seen holding public meetings in elevating party's strengths.

On Wednesday KTR inspected the arrangements at the place. He said delegates over 8,000 from 31 districts would be attending the plenary. Nearly, 2,000 display boards would be set up to give information about the tariff at outer ring road. After this grand fete, TRS will hold a public meeting on April 27 in Warangal to mark the completion of three years of the State government.
