Summer Vacation For Telangana Schools From Thursday

With the temperatures soaring to newer highs with each passing day, school children are finding it difficult to attend classes
Hyderabad: With the summer mercury soaring to newer highs with each passing day, Telangana government on Wednesday decided to close schools from Thursday for the vacation. The original schedule of the summer vacation was to begin April 24 and the last working day for schools was April 22.
All government and private schools in the state will remain closed from April 20 till June 11 for summer vacation .
Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao instructed the education department to declare summer vacation from April 20 in view of the unusual temperatures being recorded in the state for the past few days. Temperatures in Hyderabad and throughout the state recorded beyond 43-degrees Celsius on Tuesday and it was predicted to cross 45-degree Celsius by the weekend.
