Tormentor ‘Sentenced’ To Campaign For Women’s Safety

Hyderabad: MA Raheem (39), a resident of Moulali, was punished by a court on Monday for harassing a women by making him to hold a SHE team poster at Gunpark traffic signal.

The Fourth Special Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally directed the convict to pay fine and campaign against women harassment for an entire day.

An official from SHE team said that Raheem has been harassing a married woman by making 'n' number of calls and despite the victim changed her number, he used to find out her number and call again.

"When she stopped using her phone, Raheem started calling her husband asking him to hand the phone to her,” Official said, adding, the victim then filed complaint with them.
