Taxiwala Day 5 Collections: Crosses Half Million Mark

Vijay Deverakonda's latest offering Taxiwala is going great guns at the box office. The sci-fi thriller has set the cash registers ringers at the ticket window despite the fact that an unedited version of the movie was leaked even before it went before the censor board. The makers had almost given up on the movie. However, the strong content helped the movie sail through the storm and emerge winner.

At the end of day 5, Taxiwala had collected a whopping half million which is no mean feat to achieve given the fact that the film was a victim of piracy.

The film seems to be doing well in Nizam and ceeded regions as well. By day 3 itself, Taxiwala had collected a whopping Rs 3.80 crores from Nizam and 1.05 crore in Ceeded area.
