TG Venkatesh's remarks on bureaucrats sparks row

TG Venkatesh's remarks on bureaucrats sparks row - Sakshi Post

Minor irrigation minister has landed himself in soup. Thanks to his remarks on inefficient bureaucrats, he has invited the wrath of many a people.

TG Venkatesh recently said, "Non-performing bureaucrats should be shot dead."
Besides protests against the statement, a criminal case too has been filed against the minister.
As if that was not enough, the minister again made provocative statements against bureaucrats.
The minister on Thursday said that most of the secretaries have no understanding on the issues they were handling.
And bureaucrats who were not working should be trained, he said, adding, he would soon have a meeting with Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to discuss on the same.
TG also targeted IAS officers saying, "Some IAS officers feel that they were honest and hence didn't have to work. But if the honest officer doesn't work, then what is the use?"
