Two held by ACB while taking bribe
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today trapped an Mandal Revenue Inspector and a Village Revenue Assistant of Nandendla mandal in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh for allegedly taking Rs 20,000 as bribe.
T Siddaiah and Ch Ashok were caught red-handed by the ACB officials at Tahasildar office in Nadendla when they demanded and accepted bribe of Rs 20,000 from the complainant to process and forward the enquiry report for grant of Fair Price shop dealership to the complainant, an ACB release said in Hyderabad.
