Telangana Students To Compete At NCSC

Hyderabad: A 20-member team of Telangana State National Children’s Science Congress (TS-NCSC) will be participating in a five-day National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) to be held from Tuesday at Bramati in Maharashtra. The team comprises of 13 child scientists, five escort teachers and two coordinators.

Y. Nagesh Kumar, Member Secretary, Telangana State Council of Science & Technology will be leading the state delegation.

“It is intended to provide child scientists a unique opportunity to present their investigatory projects and interact with eminent scientists, thereby creating in them a zeal for entering the exciting world of Science & Technology,” said Nagesh.

The child scientists from the state would be competing with 650 scientific projects that have come from all over the country and also from SAARC and ASEAN countries.

‘Science, Technology & Innovation for Sustainable Development - With Special emphasis on Accessibility for Persons with Disability’ is the focal theme for the 24th NCSC 2016.
