Telangana cabinet expansion likely next week

Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao indicated that his cabinet could be expanded next week.

Sources said that five more ministers could be inducted into his cabinet. One of them would be a woman.

Before the cabinet expansion, KCR is reviewing the party position in each district.

At present, there are 11 ministers in the state cabinet Including the chief minister. The rules allow the chief minister to induct six more legislators into his cabinet.

KCR is thinking of taking five ministers at present and one more minister later.

There are many aspirants for these few posts. Some leaders, who thought of pressurizing the chief minister for the posts at a later date, are pressurizing KCR to get the posts now itself.
