Teenage Girl Raped In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Bahadurpura area here by a man, who claimed to be a spiritual healer, police said on Tuesday.

The teenage girl suffering from a health problem went to the house of the accused Ahmed (45) on Monday when he allegedly raped her, Bahadurpura Police Station Inspector Guru Naidu said. "We are investigating, no arrests have been made," the police officer said. Ahmed claims to offer remedies to health problems through prayers, police said.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), they said adding further probe is on.
