TDP leader meets Jagan, former MPP joins YSR Cong
Former MPP Gudem Mahipal Reddy, has joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence the party's honorary president Y S Vijayamma at a mammoth meeting organised at Patancheruvu in Hyderabad on Thursday evening.
Former Rajya Sabha member K N Khan's son MM Khan and TRSV state secretary Navin Madiraj also joined the party on the occasion.
Speaking at the meeting, Vijayamma alleged that the government has set aside all the welfare schemes implemented by late YSR. Arogyasree became ‘Anarogyasree’ and liquor was flowing ‘like a canal’ in the state. On the other hand, the TDP government under Chandrababu Naidu never bothered or cared for people's problems.
Earlier in the day, Telugu Desam Party leader from Chittoor District Chintala Ramachandra Reddy who was fed up with Chandrababu's attitude met Kadapa MP and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda Prison in Hyderabad.
