Taxiwaala Overseas Rights Sold 

Vijay Deverakonda is on a roll after his previous film Arjun Reddy became a super duper hit. The actor has placed himself among the top league of actors in Tollywood and has also become the most sought-after actors in the industry today.

Post Arjun reddy, the actor will be seen in the supernatural thriller titled Taxiwaala. The film is slated for release on May 18, while the US premieres will be held on May 17. The rights to screen the US premieres have been bought by Freeze Frame Films.

The film is being directed by Rahul Sankrityan and bankrolled by two leading production houses - GA2 and UV Creations. Taxiwaala stars Malvika Nair and Priyanka Jawalkar, where the latter is making her screen debut.

The teaser that was released sometime back has garnered huge likes on social media. The narration of the teaser starts with, “Ladies and Gentlemen, with grand dance performances and acting like never seen before, with great actors and actresses, we welcome to this folk film.” This has already piqued the interest of the audiences.

Vijay has a streak of films in the pipeline for release. He will be seen playing a scribe in Mahanati where he shares screen space with Samantha for the first time ever. He also has the bilingual film NOTA where the lead actress is Mehreen Pirzada in Anand Shankar directorial.
