Speaker Kodela's daughter-in-law alleges harassment

A case was registered on Andhra Pradesh state assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao's son Kodela Ramakrishna by his wife alleging his he attacked her late on Wednesday night. The incident reportedly occurred in Visakhapatnam.

As per the complaint, Ramakrishna threatened his wife Padmapriya, her parents and took away their son Goutham, with him. She further said that there was marital discord among them and that he frequently quarrelled. 

Padmapriya further alleged that Kodela Shiva Prasad and his daughter use to harass her. After giving birth to a boy child in 2010, she was repeatedly thrown out of the house, she mentioned in the complaint.

Harassment went up after Siva Prasad's party formed the government. Unable bare the harassment anymore, she has been living with her parents for the past one year, she said.

Eventually,Ramakrishna along with his supports attacked her on late Wednesday night and Kidnapped her son,said in complaint given by Padmapriya.

ACP Mahesh and three town Circle Inspector Venkat reached her house immediately and began investigations.
