Shabbir Ali writes to KCR over Dummugudem project renaming

Khammam: Congress leader Mohammed Shabbir Ali wrote a letter to Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao opposing the renaming the Dummugudem project in the name of redesigning.

The congress leader said in his letter that the renaming of Dummugudem project, which is named after the former Prime Ministers Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi, is nothing but humiliating the former Prime Ministers of India and also Bharat Ratna awardees.

He urged the Chief Minister to rename the projects as ‘Rama Indira’ and ‘Rajiv’ projects.
