Pranitha Escapes Unhurt After Her Car Turns Turtle in Nalgonda
Hyderabad: Heroine Pranitha escaped unhurt when the car she was traveling from Khammam to Hyderabad turned turtle near Mothe in Nalgonda district on Sunday morning.
Her mother, driver and a make-up man received minor injuries.
The Innova they were traveling turned upside down when the driver tried to escape a motor bike coming head-on. The accident took place in the accident prone Mothe where Jr. NTR's car was hit by a vehicle some time back.
Pranitha and her mother went to Khammam to attend a private function and were returning to city. The actress reached home safely, but the injured driver and make-up man were admitted in a hospital at Suryapet for treatment.
The Attarintiki Daaredi fame went to Khammam to inaugurate a clothes store and enthralled the people in her golden saree. The car was not at a high speed at the time of accident and all the passengers were wearing seat belt. The driver of the car said it was only because of the seat belt they survived the accident. The impact would have been disastrous otherwise. The Innova car (AP29 BQ1477) was badly damaged.
"Don't know how it came suddenly, the bike was coming straight onto our car. Had I not pulled the car to side, the bike would have been smashed. But due to sudden brake, our car skidded and turned upside down," the driver recalled. He received injuries on his hand and head. Six passengers were sitting in the car.
After reaching Shamsabad airport in another car, Pranitha left for Bengaluru. "I'm perfectly alright," she told the media at the airport.
