SC reserves orders on Vijayasai Reddy’s bail - Sakshi Post

Arguments were completed on Thursday over CBI petition seeking cancellation of auditor Vijaysai Reddy’s bail in the Supreme Court in connection with quid pro quo case.

The court adjourned the verdict.  The counsel of Vijayasai Reddy contended that he had never created obstacle to the investigations as alleged by the CBI. The counsel brought to the notice of the court that the CBI had filed three charge-sheets after he obtained bail.

They also mentioned that the Home Minister and other IAS officers, who were also named in the charge-sheet, can influence the case as they were outside. The advocates further said the CBI had already inquired Vijaysai more than 300 hours. Stating that his daughter’s marriage was scheduled this month, the advocates said the CBI allegation that he was influencing the probe was a myth. After hearing the arguments, the Supreme Court reserved orders on the bail and adjourned the case.
