Ruckus in RS over bugging Gadkari's home
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday categorically said that there was truth in the allegations that union minister Nitin Gadkari's house was bugged.
However, the Congress in Rajya Sabha did not relent and created uproarious scene to force two adjournments during the question hour.
The Congress demanded a joint parliamentary committee probe on the issue of high-powered listening devices being found in Gadkari's home.
However, Rajnath Singh said the minister himself has debunked the news and no complaint has been filed by anyone on the issue. Union Minister Arun Jaitley too said that there was lot of difference between the fact and fiction of bugging controversy.
Congress MP Anand Sharma raised the issue, but Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari asked members to allow Question Hour and raise the matter during Zero Hour.
Dissatisfied Congres MPs raised slogans and forced two adjournments.
