Is Mahesh Babu A Victim Of Political Conspiracy?

Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu finds himself in the crosshairs of tax agencies. Mahesh Babu got into headlines of the wrong kind when GST officials attached his bank accounts in a tax case recently. Though the actor himself has stayed clear of identifying himself with any political party, his brother-in-law and industrialist, Jay Galla is a TDP Lok Sabha MP and is said to be a close aide of Andhra Pradesh chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu.

Mahesh Babu's father, popular actor of yesteryears was a Congress MP, elected to the Lok Sabha in 1989 from Eluru. Krishna's brother Adiseshagiri Rao switched over to the TDP recently hoping for a Lok Sabha ticket.

Mahesh Babu has always kept away from active politics, but speculation is that his industrialist brother-in-law's proximity to Chandrababu Naidu could have led to the tax problems of the actor. This may well be pure conjecture.
