NTR statue set afire, TDP demands action

Unknown miscreants set afire the state of former chief minister, late NT Rama Rao at Lattipur gate on the Hyderabad –Srisailam highway in Mahabubnagar on Monday night.

TDP activists staged a rasta-roko to protest the incident. They also demanded that the government identify the miscreants and take stern action against them.

With the TDP activists' protest, vehicular traffic on the highway came to a standstill.
