Ponnam Prabhakar does a foot-in-mouth, draws ire

A case was lodged against Telangana Congress MP, Ponnam Prabhakar who, by slip of tongue compared Rajahmundry MP Undavalli Arun Kumar to a Peddapuram veshya (prostitute).

Launching a scathing attack on Vundavalli, Ponnam had recently said that Undavalli always changes his stand and deceives people with his statements.

He also compared Vundavalli to a Peddapuram veshya. This remark has not gone down well with Samaikyandhra JAC women organizations.

Alleging that Ponnam has hurt the sentiments of women, they lodged complaint at III Town police station in Visakhapatnam.
