No entry for visitors at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: The authorities at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport have restricted the entry of visitors inside the airport following the high alert declared by the Union Home Ministry amidst the ongoing terror attack at the Indian Air Force base at Pathankot in Punjab.

According to statements issued by authorities, Visitors who come to drop off relatives and family will not be allowed to enter the airport for a week or 10 days. The restriction will be removed only after receiving a clearance from the intelligence agencies, authorities said.

Security has been beefed up at all major airports across the country and a high alert has been sounded due to the ongoing terror attacks in Punjab.
