NCB seizes heroin worth Rs 5 crore in Tirupati

A big haul of heroin worth Rs 5 crores was seized in Tirupati. However, the news has come to light two days after the incident.

The Narcotics control bureau seized a huge chunk of heroin near the Railway reservation counter at Tirupati Railway station. The news has created a sensation in the temple town.

The police has arrested Rajasthan based Gopal Singh, Shyam Singh and Uttar Pradesh-based Sohail Khan and Hazzab Khan. After producing before the court, the accused have been remanded to custody until October 17. A gang from Pakistan is reported to be playing a key role in this illegal business. During the interrorgation, it was revealed that the Pakistan gang has been supplying drugs to India.
