TDP Ministers, Leaders Face Cyclone Victims Wrath
Vajrapukothuru : People of Uddanam flayed politicians for snail’s pace of cyclone relief efforts. Andhra Pradesh Labour and Sports Minister Kollu Ravindra and Venkanna Chowdary son-in-law of Palasa MLA Goutu Shyamsundara Shivaji had to wait for two hours in the hot sun because the local residents blocked their passage. Later they were taken to the Peddamuraharipuram village two kilometers from Kundi centre.
People gathered from CM Puram, PM Puram, Seethampeta, Gunalapadu, Ugipuram, Amalapadu and neighbouring villages to protest against the minister.
They also stopped the minister’s convoy. Earlier, protesters blockaded the highway near YSR center in Pundi. The protesters shouted slogans asking the minister to go back and denouncing Chandrababu Naidu.
“It has been five days since Titli cyclone has wrecked havoc in our life and now you turn up”, they shouted at them.
Andhra Pradesh Excise Minister Jawahar also had to face many protesters in the villages of Reyyipadu, URK Puram, Kambarayudupeta and villages surrounding old Tekkali.
