Mystery shrouds woman’s death inside Tirumala PS

A woman died under mysterious circumstances inside the Tirumala Crime Police station today. Though police claim that the woman, Parvathi from Ananthapur district, committed suicide, she is stated to have succumbed after harassment.

Suspecting her to be a habitual offender, the Tirumala Crime police picked up Parvathi and were interrogating her for a recent theft inside the world famous Lord Venkateswara Temple. However, during interrogation she resorted to suicide and she was rushed to the local Ruia Hospital where she was pronounced brought dead.

What is giving scope for suspicion is that how Parvathi suddenly attempted suicide when interrogation was on. She was a habitual offender, the police added.
