Major Fire In Tirumala Forest

Forest fire in Seshachala hills, in Tirumala on Monday.
Tirumala: A major fire erupted in the forests abutting Dharamagiri Veda Pathashala in Tirumala Hills, on Monday.
According to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials, fire erupted at Seshachala forests and quickly spread to the surrounding area owing to the summer heat and dead wood.
The TTD along with the regional fire department rushed personnel to bring the fire under control. No loss of life or property was reported when reports last came-in.
