London: 'King of Good Times' Vijay Mallya was spotted at the Edgbaston grounds during the Champions Trophy cricket match between Indian and Pakistan, on Sunday.
The former chief of Kingfisher Airlines was seen enjoying the match without any inhibition. Several Indians among the audience recognised the most-wanted Indian businessman and started taking his pictures seated in the VVIP enclosure. Those pictures are now going viral on the social media.
Vijay Mallya is wanted by several security agencies in India for defaulting on loans taken by him to the tune of over Rs 9,000 crore. The Indian government is trying through various channels to bring him back to the country and stand trial. He was recently arrested by the Scotland Yard but managed to walk out on bail.
