Mahalakshami Srinivas quits TDP
In a major setback for the TDP, its Anantapur Urban district incharge Mahalakshmi Srinivas quit the party saying Chandrababu can never guarantee social justice and the party has no sense of social justice.
“I spent close to Rs.50 crores for the party in the last ten years,” said Srinivas. He also termed Chandrababu's confidant and Rajya Sabha MP CM Ramesh a broker and charged him with selling party tickets for a price. He further said that even Chandrababu was giving preference to money.
“I am leaving the TDP due to these reasons only,” informed Srinivas.
It may be recalled that JC Diwakar Reddy's son-in-law Deepak Reddy too had made similar allegations and he too hails from Anantapur district.
