Kite-flying kills three in Krishna

In a shocking incident, three children were charred to death as they were trying to remove a kite on the live electric wire at Rajagopal Nagar under Pamarru mandal in Krishna district on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased are identified as Yesuraju, Janbabu and Suresh and all aged between 10 to 12.
According to reports, the children were flying kites and one of the kites got snapped before falling on the live electric wire. The children were electrocuted when they tried to remove kite using a iron rod. Three children died on the spot.
Suresh was the only son of Veerayya and Tirupatamma. Nallabotula Venkatesham lost both the sons.
A pall of gloom descended on the colony after the news about the children's death spread.
