Telangana opposes AP's proposal on EAMCET - Sakshi Post

Telangana education minister G. Jagadeeshwar Reddy on Friday once again opposed AP's proposal to conduct joint entrance test for the students of AP and Telangana for Intermediate students.

Speaking to the media after meeting Governor ESL Narasimhan, the minister said the State government shall conduct Eamcet-2015 on its own. He however offered that they are ready to provide services to the AP Government.
He further said that students belong to AP can attend EAMCET test in Telangana.
"Governor is satisfied with our proposals. He asked us to make sure there will be no differences of opinion between the both states over conducting exams," he said.
It may be recalled that the Telangana government has offered to conduct common EAMCET for both the states of AP and Telangana. But the condition is that it wants to conduct the common EAMCET on its own with the support of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
