Kamareddy: Intermediate girl goes missing

The disappearance of a girl studying intermediate first year at Nizampet in Hyderabad created panic in Kamareddy area in Nizamabad district.

Keertana, who got 90 per cent marks in the intermediate exams, the results of which were announced on Sunday went missing after she left her hostel in Hyderabad. 

Keertana, daughter of Srinivas, a teacher and Kalpana, left the hostel for Kamareddy after the release of results along with her friend. She reportedly alighted the bus at Ramayampet to meet a friend of Bhikkanur on Sunday. As she did not reach home at Kamareddy till Sunday evening, the parents of Keertana lodged a complaint with Kamareddy police.

Police has launched a search operation to trace Keertana.
