Woman among two injured in acid attacks

A woman and a street vendor were seriously injured in two separate acid attacks in the state on Sunday.

Some miscreants poured acid on a woman at Janagam in Peddemul mandal of Rangareddy district. They ran away after pouring the acid. The woman who sustained burn injuries was rushed to hospital. Police registered a case and manhunt was launched to nab the culprits.

In another incident, a street vendor was attacked with acid by some unidentified persons at Kothapalli in Jammikunta mandal of Karimnagar district on Sunday. Burra Sravan was attacked near his house. He was shifted to MGM Hospital. Jammikunta police are looking for the culprits.
