Junior Actress Arrested For Running Online Prostitution Racket

Hyderabad: A 27-year-old small time Tollywood actress was arrested along with a woman and a make-up man for running an online prostitution racket from Boduppal in the outskirts of city on Sunday morning.

The actress, who was residing in a hostel near Madhuranagar in Yousufguda, posted her details and some other girls on 'Locanto' in woman seeking men section.

She took assistance from a woman from Yousufguda and a make-up man Bandari to run online prostitution. Their modus operandi is to send a woman to the client's address after booking through 'Locanto' website. On Sunday, as part of their business, the gang happened to send a girl to a client near NTR Statue near Boduppal. On a tip-off, the Special Operations Team (SOT) rushed to the spot and arrested all the three of the gang.

The SOT police recovered Rs 1,700 in cash, two cell phones from them and handed over the case to the Medipally police. A case under various sections of prostitution was registered against the broker and launched investigation.
