Jana Reddy to announce Medak MP candidate

AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh said that senior Congress leader K.Jana Reddy would decide the party candidate for Medak LS by election.

Speaking at the two-day party plenary held at Ibrahimpatnam in Hyderabad on Monday, he said that Congress MLAs and MLCs would fan out into the villages to canvass for the party in the bypolls.

“The party candidate will be announced on Tuesday,” said Digvijay Singh.

Replying to a question, the AICC leader said that anyone can stay in Hyderabad. “If the government shows any form of discrimination, the Congress party will fight it.”

The two-day party plenary ended on Monday evening.
