HC permits eligible colleges for web counseling

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has ruled that all private engineering colleges, which are following the stipulated norms framed by All India Council for Technical Education, should be allowed for the EAMCET web counseling.
The court gave its judgment on the petition filed by the private engineering colleges in the state.
With this, the eligible colleges have now got relief.
It may be recalled that Telangana government deleted some colleges from web counseling citing that these colleges are not following the stipulated rules. With this, the managements of these colleges moved the High Court.
The court said that only JNTU is the final authority on deciding whether a particular college is following the norms are not.
