Jagga Reddy hops back to BJP, to contest from Medak LS - Sakshi Post

Life has come full circle for former MLA Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy aka Jagga Reddy. He began his political career with the BJP and has now come back to the BJP to contest as its MP candidate from Medak LS seat.

Jagga Reddy finally bid adieu to the Congress and joined the BJP on Wednesday, the last date for filing nominations. .
Jagga Reddy, an ardent critic of KCR, had several times indicated that he would join the BJP. He started as a councillor in BJP and then became municipal chairman. He is from the RSS background and joined TRS along with another BJP renegade leader A Narendra.
He won as TRS MLA in 2004, but soon left the party to join the Congress. He was re-elected in 2009, but had lost in 2014.
With Jagga Reddy's entry, the contest has become an all Reddy affair with all the three main parties nominating candidates from the community. The TRS has fielded K Prabhakar Reddy, while the Congress has fielded former minister Sunitha Lakshma Reddy.
