Hyderabad Turns Pink City For TRS Plenary 2018: Telangana Cuisine On Menu

All the roads in Hyderabad leads to the TRS Plenary being held near Medchal today. The event has turned Hyderabad into a pink city thanks to the TRS flags that dot the roads leading up to the venue.

The stage is set for the annual TRS Plenary meet of the ruling party of Telangana on Medchal road, near Kompally in Hyderabadon Friday. While politicians from across the state will markt their attendance, arrangements have been made to transport them to the venue. To ensure smooth flow of road traffic, the Cyberabad police have placed restrictions on certain roads while diverting routes to reduce traffic congestion. Some 13,000 delegates from 119 Constituencies are expected to attend the event which is being organised on a grand scale.

On the occasion, the Telangana IT and panchayat Raj Minister KT Ramarao expressed his gratitude to the people of Telangana.

While huge LED screens have been erected at the venue, cool drinking water and ambali sachets are made accessible for the delegates considering the scorching heat.

A fifteen member medical team comprising four doctors, four ambulance vans and 15 para medics will be stationed at the venue for any medical emergencies.

Formed in 2001, the party came to power in Telangana in June 2014 after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.The party would discuss the current political situation in the state and the country and accordingly decide the future course of action reflecting the mood of the people of the state, said TRS MP Kavitha.

The plenary is also expected to plan a roadmap for the "non-BJP non-Congress front" idea being mooted by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
