However, TDP government is favouring coastal Andhra.

Ralayaseema advocates have decided to intensify the agitation. They have also warned AP Government's capital committee chairman and municipal minister K Narayana of an agitation.

Narayana is arguing that the High Court should be located close to state secretariat. They also threatened Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that they would launch a seperate Rayalaseema movement if the region is neglected.

Paluru Ravi, AP bar council member from Kurnool, questioned why AP CM is keen to establish capital only between Vijayawada and Guntur.

Lawyers from Vijayawada and and Guntur argue that court should be set up depending on the pendency of cases.

They point out that 70% of pending cases were from coastal and while Rayalaseema has only 30% cases pending.

Hence, they want the court to be set up in Guntur. This has made erstwhile comrades bitter enemies.
