High court reprimands RTC workers

Hyderabad: The State High Court on Wednesday once again reprimanded RTC workers on their adamant behaviour of not calling off strike.


RTC empolyees of both AP and TS are in strike since eight days demanding wage revision at par with state government employees. After coming into power, Telangana and AP government gave 43% fitment to state government employees. So demanding the same, APSRTC workers have stalled the services causing inconvience to people for the past eight days.
High Court on Tuesday gave a deadline to call off the strike by 12:30 which the unions didnot pay heed to. But on Wednesday after the arguements began, Unions requested half an hour permission to finalize and explain their stand on the strike.
