Gram Panchayat officer in ACB net for taking Rs 6,000 bribe

Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday trapped an Executive Officer at a Gram Panchayat office in Nizamabad district of AP for allgedly taking a bribe of Rs 6,000.

M Mohan Reddy, Executive Officer at Gram Panchayat office in Madhoor villge was caught red-handed by ACB officials when he demanded and received the sum from the complainant to grant him house permission for constructing First and Second floors on his existing house, an ACB release said here. The case is under investigation.
