Govt to announce summer holidays early due to burning sun

Hyderabad: Due to the rising temperatures and heat waves in the state, Telangana government is giving it a thought to announce the summer holidays for the public and private schools a bit earlier this year.

According to the pre schedule, officials have already announced the holidays for schools from April 24. As Thursday, Friday and Sunday are holidays due to Ambedkar 125th birth anniversary, Sri Rama Navami and Sunday respectively, it is learnt that the government is likely to pass orders to the district collectors to announce the summer holidays little earlier.
