Fraud: Youths Duped By Promising Jobs In Dubai

Hyderabad: Task Force sleuth arrested a fake job consultant in Mehdipatnam on Wednesday for duping over 70 unemployed youths.

The accused Mohammed Khaleed allegedly collected money between Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh at City Star Travels promising the gullible youths of providing labor jobs in Dubai.

The accused has cheated unemployed youth by collecting huge amounts in the guise of carrying on a recruitment business as a licensed and certified recruiting agent

The accused also collected passports from the victims to process their visas. However, after collecting the amount he started avoiding them and citing delay in getting an appointment letter or visa.

Police in a statement said, "The accused has cheated unemployed youth by collecting huge amounts in the guise of carrying on a recruitment business as a licensed and certified recruiting agent."
