Dollar Seshadri exonerated
In a significant judgement, A Chittoor court on Friday pronounced Dollar Seshadri not guilty in the sensational case of gold dollars of Lord Venkateswara going missing.
Seshadri, the officer on duty at Tirumala, was among the accused in the dollar missing case. In 2006, 300 gold dollars, each weighing 5 grams, went missing. In 2008, the State Government organised a CBCID inquiry. The inquiry report was submitted to the court.
In its final judgement, the court pronounced Seshadri not guilty and held TTD shroff Venkata Chalapathi guilty and sentenced him to three years imprisonment and levied penalty on him.
