Hyderabad Techie Arrested For Harassing Ex-Girlfriend

Hyderabad: Rachakonda cyber crime police arrested a techie for stalking his ex-girlfriend.

The 24-year-old accused is a resident of Bharath Nagar and was a schoolmate of the woman who resides in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh. They were a couple and while during the relationship the man had taken nude photographs of the woman on his phone.

The couple later broke up and the woman got married to another man in 2011.

However, he did not give up and often contacted her and asked her to continue the relationship. When she refused, he threatened to send the nude photographs to her husband and family members and defame her.

He also sent her abusive and threatening messages.

He has been booked for stalking, criminal intimidation, and outraging the modesty of a woman apart from relevant sections of Information Technology Act.
