Man Stabbed To Death In Busy Panjagutta Circle In Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Panjagutta in Hyderabad witnessed an appalling incident on Wednesday. A man was stabbed in the glaring view of crowded Panjagutta junction in the evening.

A 34-year-old auto driver, was stabbed to death by another auto driver near Panjagutta police station here on Wednesday evening. The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Syed Anwar, a resident of Panjagutta while the accused is Mir Riyasat Ali Sajju.

Auto drivers Syed Anwar and Mir Riyasat Ali Sajju were living in Panjagutta. Hostility grew between them due to an issue regarding a woman. Around 7.30 pm on Wednesday, when Anwar was standing near his auto in front of Panjagutta police station, Riyasat Ali came and picked up an argument with him .In the scuffle the ensued, Riyasat Ali took out a knife and stabbed Anwar on his stomach, neck and other places multiple times. The bleeding victim ran into the police station asking them to rescue him. While trying to shift him to Gandhi Hospital, he died en route,police said.

Police registered a case under Section 302 of IPC against Riyasat Ali. The accused allegedly surrendered before the police after the incident. Issues over an alleged extramarital relationship with another woman seemed to the reason for the fight, which claimed Anwar's life.The killer Riyasat Ali with knife in his hand went to police station and surrendered himself.
